Heaven for the Climate Sunburnt Tripel

10.2% ABV 32 IBUs

Color: Deep Golden & Good Clarity / Finsh: Semi-dry with Moderate Fruitiness Hops/ Aramis

This decadent beer is strong while hiding its alcohol very well, what we refer to as “sneaky”. Lots of pear, apricot, peach & yellow apple fruitiness as well as notes of spicebox, coriander & cardamom from the yeast; we use the same of yeast strain as world famous Westmalle & Westvleteren. Look for its darker cousin, Hell for Society Quad later this fall!

Familia IPA

Notes: Grapefruit, lemon, mango, blackberries, tangerine, firm bitterness, 66 IBUs

Made with hops from the UK, US, Japan and Germany. Our 6th IPA from Mike Castagno was brewed on June 6th. We recently lost a friend and a dedicated member of the Georgia craft beer family, Dan Rosen. Dan was a big advocate and fan of fresh IPAs. We hope he would approve of the Familia IPA. Rest in Peace, Dan, this beer is for you.

Germantown Pils

German Pilsner Ale, 5.2% abv

Notes: Floral hop bouquet, graham cracker, sweet malt, smooth finish

Our second installment of the “Alternative Facts Series” is a German Pilsner brewed with ale yeast. Keeping that in mind, we used a few tricks to mimic lager fermentation and then lagered this beer for over 3 weeks. Crisp, semi-dry and easy to drink in hot weather.

Stanley Cupric

American Copper Ale, 6.0%

Notes: Resin & dank on the nose, fruity hop finish – dragonfruit, papaya; touch of toasted malt

Our copper ale is a cross between a Pale Ale, Amber Ale and IPA. It almost comes across as a younger cousin of the Overt Hops Double IPA in its character. Two hops were used in this beer: Ahtanum & Equinox/Ekuanot. It is named after the great film director, Stanley Kubrick with a slight nod to our brewer’s background in Chemistry (“cupric” is the Latin term for the highest oxidation state of copper).

Wit Or Witout

Belgian Wit, 5.5% abv

Notes: Orange, coriander, grainy, creamy, slight tartness on the finish

Our first batch of Witbier is dedicated to the endless patience of our brewer’s wife. Her favorite beer genre is wheat beer and Wit is a great warm weather option. Named after the infamous question in  Philadelphia – when you order a cheesesteak you’ll be asked “Wit or Witout?”.

Whale Farm IPA

Notes: Stone fruit, pineapple, black pepper, saltine crackers
This IPA is a collaboration with Tim Schiavone of Banyan Roots Brewpub; a pilsner malt base lays the foundation for a mix of American (Simcoe, Columbus) and Southern Hemisphere (Pacific Jade, Galaxy) hops giving this beer a deep hop complexity. This IPA is highly drinkable for the impending hot Atlanta summer that is around the corner. Crisp on the tongue and dry on the finish, this refreshing beer will leave you longing for more.

Mild Night

3.3% ABV 19IBUs

Color: Mahogany Brown with Garnet highlights / Finsh: Salted Pretzel Crust, very low carbonation; surprisingly rich/Hops: Fuggle, Horizon

A true beer drinker’s beer and a favorite style of brewers and English beer fans, this flavorful mild taps in at a sessionable abv. This is a GREAT fall weather beer, goes well with football, hockey, day-drinking and almost all of our food on the menu (definitely try it with the meatloaf).

Hop Twania Belgian IPA

This collaborative brew with Schmaltz Brewing features a soft malt character with biscuit, baking bread and toast.  Ample Esters of bubble gum, pear and guava with a firm spiciness from the phenois.

6.6 abv

Austria-Thirsty Vienna Amber Ale

Our first from the “Alternative Facts Series” of beers; an ale version of a Vienna Lager. This beer is light in body and highly drinkable. Vienna style beer is rich in toasty malt without being heavy or too sweet. A low bitterness is just enough to support the malt. Austria-Thirsty finishes on the dry side with floral hops refreshing the palate. 5.7% ABV

Cheer & Regard Irish Foreign Extra Stout

A velvety smooth mouthfeel pairs with a moderate fruity ester profile; caramel, raisin, biscuit, chocolate and coffee notes follow. This stout is a farewell tribute to Chef Savannah, wishing her all the best and great food too! 7.2% ABV

Buffalo Bourbon Brown

Using our Chestnut Brown Ale as a base, this beer is infused with Buffalo Trace Bourbon. The bourbon accents of oak, vanilla, and caramel go great with the chocolate and nuttiness of the brown ale. Moderate fruitiness from fermentation softens the alcohol and the two really compliment each other. 6.7% ABV

Overt Hops Double IPA

7.0% ABV 90 IBUs

Color: Light copper with brilliant clarity / Finsh: Hoppy, piney, grapefruit, bitter / Hops: Columbus, Chinock, Falconer’s Flight 7C’s

Rarely seen in the wild, this is a breed of “Clear IPA”. It exhibits unusual traits of intense hop aroma and flavor identified as fruity, piney, citrus and pungent while simultaneously possessing malt character. Enjoy this endangered species of beer while it lasts.

Passionate Mistress

Our Mistress of Mischief Belgian Rouge gets a helping of passionfruit in the serving tank. A special for Valentine’s day, but good for stirring up some mischief anytime.

Mistress of Mischief Belgian Rouge

This artisanal Belgian amber ale has a candy-like sweetness and hints of caramel up front from the house-caramelized candi sugar while still managing to finish very dry. The yeast has provided a complex array of esters and phenols for the aroma – pear, banana, apple, apricot, clove and pepper.  7.8%ABV

IQ Booster West Coast IPA

Notes: Grapefruit, Meyer lemon zest, baking bread, firm bitterness

While everyone else is on the “New England Style” IPA train, we’re full believers in the “San Diego Style” IPA. Good clarity and no evidence of “juice” anywhere near this beer; it’s a true hop-head’s kind of beer..

ABV 7.3% IBUs 90

Cereal Keller Kellerbier

This kellerbier is an unfiltered, unlagered American take on a Pilsner. The nose is slightly citrusy and lemony from the American hops; spicy and a touch floral due to the Continental hops. The malt is grainy and a bit doughy from a mix of pilsner malt, red wheat and oat malt. The body is light and crisp with a dry, refreshing bite on the finish. Highly drinkable. Collaboration with Todd DiMatteo from Good Word Brewing. 5.4% ABV

Hop Haise Wheat IPA

This unfiltered IPA is brewed with judicious amounts of wheat and is unfiltered to preserve the wonderful aroma. Hop Haise pours a golden yellow with a rich and creamy white head. The grainy malt props up the juicy hop character. Tropical fruits abound mango, passion fruit, pineapple, lemon, and tangerine. 45 IBU 6.1% ABV

Barleywine Paradiso

Barleywine Paradiso, 8.8%

Unexpectedly, this barleywine is quite approachable. The complexity of the beer brings forth flavors of ripe pomme fruit, fig and date with rich caramel to complement. Despite this, the finish is moderately dry preventing it from becoming cloyingly sweet.

Dark Matter American Stout

Tasting Notes: Cocoa Powder, Black peppercorns, charred bread, toast, light caramel

Our second iteration of Dark Matter consists of a Chilean roasted malt, German toasted malt and hops from New Zealand and the US. This world traveler is in honor of Garrett Sever who helped in honing the craft of brewing as a mentor to our head brewer. Hops: Pacific Jade, Nugget, Amarillo

6.7% ABV   55IBUs

Sam’s Smoked Porter

Sam’s Smoked Porter, 6.4%

Think about Barbeque: rich, dense smoke with a bit of ashy, charred bark and a sweet full finish. Give this beer about a half pint before you decide whether you like it or not. Trust me, as you keep drinking it, you’ll grow more and more fond of it!

Clara’s Chestnut Brown

Clara’s Chestnut Brown Ale, 6.0%

Worry not – the nut brown ale offered here contains no nuts. Mahogany in color, the flavor of walnuts and chestnuts comes purely from the malt. This is paired with hints of toasted bread, caramel and chocolate.

Celebrated Jumping Frog IPA

7.0% 90 IBU

Color: Light copper with brilliant clarity / Finsh: Hoppy, piney, grapefruit, bitter / Hops: Columbus, Chinock, Falconer’s Flight 7C’s

Rarely seen in the wild, this is a breed of “Clear IPA”. It exhibits unusual traits of intense hop aroma and flavor identified as fruity, piney, citrus and pungent while simultaneously possessing malt character. Enjoy this endangered species of beer while it lasts.

11th Hour APA

5.5% ABV 34 IBUs Notes: Bright citrus hop nose with tropical hop aromas of passionfruit, guava and mango; bready malt, clean finish It’s back! It’s back! Our flagship 11th Hour is hopped like an IPA but drinks like a Pale Ale.

High Grade ESB

Notes:Aromas of tea and honey, earthy hop flavor with biscuit, water cracker and caramel malt notes

One of our brewer’s favorite beers and a reemerging style among craft beer fans, this ESB was a heavily awarded beer in our brewer’s homebrew career. Easy to drink and very food friendly, try it with the Cod & Chips.

5.2% ABV 30 IBU

My Girl Belgian Blonde

6.5% abv, 28 IBUs
Tasting Notes: Light grainy, bready and toasty malt with soft yeast contributions of pink pepper, cardamom and apricot.
Our 7th batch of My Girl in honor of our brewer’s 4 yr old daughter whose favorite song is My Girl by the Temptations. This is an excellent light and refreshing beer for spring and summer. A beer with character but not heavy.

Slide Rule Pale Ale

Slide Rule Pale Ale taps in at 6.6%. Bordering on IPA This robust pale has rich nose of honey tangerine and grapefruit. Smooth mouthfeel with a punch of citrus hops and a pithrusy dry lingering finish.

Cocoa Gingerbread Stout

This single batch vintage ale pours black in color and has the familiar gingerbread spice notes with candied ginger and hints of vanilla, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. There is a soft and subtle chocolatey undertone that marries with the creamy mouthfeel and bready malt. Get this beer while you can in order to usher in the holiday season.  Limited release

6.9% ABV

50 Shades of Black IPA

This beer style goes by many names: the oxymoronic “Black IPA” (India PALE Ale), Cascadian Dark Ale or American Black Ale. Regardless of what you call it, there is a softer more rounded hop character to this than a typical IPA. Moderate citrus notes pair with a touch of dark toasted bread while the creamy mouthfeel really softens the perceived bitterness.

Changing the Guard Oatmeal Stout starts with a waft of black coffee, a touch of apple fruitiness and a deep toasted bread note. Hints of dark chocolate with a soft smooth creaminess from the oats and a light earthiness from the hops. The finish is semi-dry with a touch of dark dried fruits: dates, figs and raisin lingering.  6.1% ABV.

Criminology IPA

This aggressive IPA packs a punch with hop flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, and orange with a hint of ripened tropical fruit finishing off with grapefruit zest at the back palate. There is a spicy malt undertone with a toasty and bready backbone. This IPA has a crisp, dry finish with a touch of bitter bite. 7.1% ABV.

Chile con Cerveza

Brewed with our friends at the Square Pub to celebrate their 6th Annual Chile Roast, this dry-hopped lager was infused with roasted Hatch chile peppers to create this perfectly balanced pepper beer. Not too spicy and oh-so-good, it’s definitely not to be missed.

Barely Brown

While brewing our River Sunset Amber, we realized that one of our specialty malts must’ve been darker than usual when we started filling the kettle and it was a lovely brown hue instead of amber. So, on the fly, we picked ourselves up by our bootstraps, changed the recipe, and made this delicious balanced brown ale. Enjoy!

Pink Guava Oat Saison

Our latest collaboration with Terrapin Beer Company, this saison was brewed with oats and pink guava to create a silky smooth and pleasantly fruity drinking experience. Great for the summer heat and at 5.6%, you can have more than one. Enjoy!    5.6%ABV
